When you're down to nothing, God is up to something. The faithful see the invisible, believe the incredible and then receive the impossible. Life is a journey that is not meant to be made safely. I want to live my life in a way that when i get really old, i look back at my life and say: aaah I lived it, not survived it.

Do not give up hope, When you are down to nothing, God is up to something.  Someone tweeted this today and i think its a real cool bible verse. So I just wanted to share it :) hehe. Helloo. Okay, this is my FIRST blog post for the year 2011, so yay! i became lazy during the holidays, prefered tumblr-ing instead, because they have real inspirational pictures, and i did not really have to write much. Guess i'll start from scratch? hopefully i'll be able to last this time *fingers crossed* :) Well, things have been doing good so far. My tiny problems, are nothing compared to other people who have REAL problems, so I can't really complain. In the beginning of the year, well, lets just say it was not really a good start, New Year's Day wasn't exactly a happy day for me. So yeah. but STILL! Praise God for everything right? :D School has been, cool. Rachel is not here anymore, haven't been talking to her as much. Ahh, i miss her. 3P is a totally different crowd, 4 new students! All girls :P Class has still been quite fun, with ryan always giving me random advice that sometimes makes sense, or sometimes i bet he probably makes them up. He playing with my giraffe pencilbox, which have been given names, CINA names, like xiao dian, char kuay teow, and for now, its Mr. Cow. yeap. Kim Tan is still her usual self, crazy and irritating still, bt a good kind of irritating. HAHA x) Without her i'll probably be twinless. I'm sitting next to YVONNE KONG :D and if you ask her, i annoy her alot with my rants, but her reaction is always the same, she dodges my irritating-ness and ALWAYS is against everything i say. thats why we're the best of friends. Eikhuan is like my partner, in everything! We're taking theory exam together and exams B) hehehe. Hmm, so things are actually good :) Before this, i was a little down, especially with netball training. The new coach, dont get me wrong, she's good, real good. But i guess sometimes her insults tend to bring me down. Even among all the shooters, i know im kinda the worst at it. Every Friday, i go to netball training, like happy happy la, but at the end i go home, feeling ..well, stepped on. It spoils my friday. sigh. I talked to a few people who gave me good advice, to not look at the negative, but the positive side. Its really up to you, how you see it.  hee. thats why i love spongebob :D My mom preached this week :D Hers are usually quite interesting and self-related. She talked about how sometimes, you may feel that God doesn't hear you, or when you pray, it doesnt get answered. Bummer isn't it? And you even come to a point when you doubt, and get angry with God. screaming and crying out, but only to look up and see the ceiling. But you see, its not that he doesn't care for you, he DOES care. He gives us test, sometimes big, sometimes small. Its not that he wants you to suffer or give up, I mean, which father would do that right? He just wants to test your faith. I watched this show fireproof. About this man, who wanted to make it up to his wife, but she ignores him completely. So he asked " How do you love someone, who constantly rejects you?" Sometimes, thats how God feels i guess. Praying works trust me! I'm working on it too, step by step :)  Okay, this is all for now. this isnt exactly a very cheerie post, but its something! hee. lots of love, kim.  |
